Inside on the walls of Ray’s Bookstore there are some of the following sections of books:

The Entrance Room has ROMANCE BOOKS, OLDER FICTION, AND SOME COOK BOOKS.  There is also a section of WESTERNS in this room.

The Main Room has SCIENCE FICTION AND HORROR SECTIONS THAT ARE IN ORDER BY AUTHOR.  This is one of the store’s most extensive collections..

Also in the Main Room are sections of TRUE CRIME, SUPERNATURAL BOOKS, and  U.F.O. BOOKS,  ART and MUSIC  books are also in the room

One chained off section of the Main Room is for Adults only.  It includes $3. MEN’S CUT MAGAZINES (thousands of them) Aso a collection of many hundreds of VHS ADULT MOVIES (without graphic covers).  There is also a section of ADULT PAPERBACK BOOKS.

The 2nd Front of the Building Room is called THE NON-FICTION ROOM  in this room are BIOGRAPHIES, NURSING BOOKS,   TEXT BOOKS (in all subjects). BOOKS ABOUT AUTOS, PLANES AND SHIPS,  OLD NON-ADULT MAGAZINES,  WESTERN BOOKS,

The Back Large Room has 1940′s 50′s and 60′s PAPERBACKS. This is a large collection.  Then there is the MYSTERY DETECTIVE SECTION,  There is an extension of the ‘S’ TO ‘Z’ SECTIONS OF SCIENCE FICTION -HORROR PAPERBACKS in this room.

One wall of this room is the RELIGIOUS BOOK ROOM.  This is full of books, magazines, song books of about every religious movement.  ALSO  on the same wall there are COLLECTABLE, ANTIQUES BOOKS.

In the VERY BACK ROOM, down the back steps there are CLASSIC BOOKS AND CHILDREN’S BOOKS (Right now the Children’s books are covered with stored boxes, because the City of Ocala wanted all our aisles wider, and we had to box up MANY BOOKS so we could allow our government to prescribe how we run our book business.  So right now the Children’s Section can’t be reached.  I hope to fix that soon, hope.

THE LARGEST SECTION IN THE STORE IS THE ADULT SECTION — IT CONSISTS OF THREE BACK ROOMS .  The largest area has ADULT D.V.D.’S AND VHS MOVIES, PAPERBACK AND HARDBACK BOOKS,

Most kinds of ADULT MAGAZINES are in the store.  In the Adult rooms we have magazines that range from 1900 to the present.  PLAYBOY for example is a huge collection.  You can find almost every month, and special editions.  Also HUSTLER is extensive.  Right now there is the 1st edition of that magazine.  Some of the other hundreds of magazines are: GALLARY, PENTHOUSE,  ADULT COMICS (LIKE FREAK BROTHERS), FIGHTING WOMEN, BONDAGE, GAY MAGAZINES, LEG SHOW and hundreds of titles.

We trade everything in the store.  Bring in things you want to get rid of, and trade them for things you want.
